SUMMARY:Introduction to Zotero
DESCRIPTION:\n\nThis online workshop will introduce you to Zotero\, a free
reference management tool that allows you to import references from online
databases and other sources. You can then use these references in your
assignments and generate a reference list using Zotero. \n\nWe recommend
Zotero to students and researchers working with large numbers of
references. If you are working with a smaller number of references for a
normal assignment\, you may find our Quick Referencing Tools workshop more
appropriate. \n\nPlease note that Zotero is suitable for people using the
APA 7th Edition referencing style. It is generally not recommended for Law
students because Zotero does not correctly format primary sources (cases
and legislation). Please speak to Suzanne White\, the Academic Liaison
Librarian for Law\, for advice regarding this.\n\n\n\nOnce you have
registered\, you will be sent a link and instructions of how to join this
online workshop\, so you must check your student email address for this
link.\n\nPlease note: You will be sent the workshop Powerpoint slides AFTER
you have attended the session. If you have a learning need and would
benefit from receiving the slides prior to the session\, please contact the
 presenter Hayley Chevell.
