Using databases for independent research projects (Health and Social Sciences focus) Online
Whilst you've been researching for the last few years for your assignments, the independent research involved in a dissertation assignment requires your search muscles to be in tip-top form.
This session will cover:
- Selecting appropriate terms and phrasing for your research query
- Using post-search facets to narrow results by discipline, geography, participant demographics and more
- Reviewing and saving your results to support structured research practice
