Introduction to EndNote Online
This online workshop will introduce you to EndNote 21, a desktop-based reference management tool that allows you to import references from online databases and other sources. You can then use these references in your work and generate a reference list using EndNote.
We recommend EndNote to researchers working with a very large number of references, e.g. for a systematic review. If you are a student writing a normal assignment, you may find our Quick Referencing Tools workshop or Introduction to Zotero workshop more appropriate.
Please note that EndNote is suitable for people using the APA 7th Edition referencing style. It is not suitable for Law students as it is not compatible with OSCOLA. Please speak to Suzanne White, the Academic Liaison Librarian for Law for advice regarding this.
Once you have registered, you will be sent a link and instructions of how to join this online workshop, so you must check your student email address for this link.
Please note: You will be sent the workshop Powerpoint slides AFTER you have attended the session. If you would like them sent to you prior to the session, please contact the presenter Holly Singleton.
