Get your Research Published: An introduction to Academic Publishing

Session lead: Josh Caldicott
Description: In this workshop, Open Research Officer Dr Joshua Caldicott will take you through the steps of getting your work published, all the way from picking a journal and writing up your research, to dealing with the publisher and knowing how to promote your work. Attendees will have the opportunity to develop their own article idea or to practice with an example research idea, in order to see how these steps operate in practice.
This session will be held hybridly, both in-person (in Teaching Room 3 on the third floor of the Lanchester Library, please arrive promptly for a 13:00 start) and online.
