Giving a CRAAP about source quality

Giving a CRAAP about source quality Online

Many students receive the feedback that they need to find higher-quality sources to support their ideas. This is often down to not properly evaluating information sources for their Currency, Relevance, Authority, Accuracy and Purpose (CRAAP).

This session will cover:

  • An introduction to the CRAAP tool, designed for online source quality consideration
  • Demonstration of the CRAAP tool, along with opportunities for attendees to try it for themselves
  • Discussion of how strengths and limitations identified by CRAAP can inform better critical writing

Target audience: Students at all levels who wish to work on source evaluation
