Independent research - searching for evidence Online
Whilst you've been researching for the last few years for your assignments, the independent research involved in a dissertation assignment requires your search muscles to be in tip-top form.
This session will cover:
- Selecting appropriate terms and phrasing for your research query
- Using post-search facets to narrow results by discipline, geography, participant demographics and more
- Reviewing and saving your results to support structured research practice

Please join on time and stay for the whole workshop. You are also encouraged to participate in the tasks and other interactions throughout the sessions.
