We are often interested in the relationship between two or more variables. In this session we will look at the correlation coefficient, and the use of simple linear regression to examine the linear relationship between two continuous variables. There will be an opportunity to practise some of these analyses using SPSS.

(Note this workshop assumes previous experience of SPSS or attendance at Workshop 4 and that you can access SPSS remotely)

Should you wish to use SPSS on your own laptop or PC, then you must follow the instructions in the attachment provided at the bottom of this page BEFORE the day of the workshop. SPSS can be accessed via AppsAnywhere on any University managed PC.

It is important you check you have access to SPSS well BEFORE the day of the workshop so that sigma can help you troubleshoot any problems you may be having.
