Workshop R1 (New in 2021): Introduction to R for Windows (Using RStudio) In-Person

R is a free software programming environment for statistical analysis, computing and graphics. It is rising in popularity because of its flexibility and the fact that it is freely available. It is code driven (as opposed to being menu driven such as with SPSS). R Studio is a user interface which makes using R much easier. This workshop will cover how to access R and RStudio, as well as getting started with coding in R (Using RStudio) to access and analyse data sets, and will cover very briefly a range of common statistical tests using R (within RStudio). Please note that no previous knowledge of R or RStudio will be assumed and so this is very much for the beginner.

This a statistics workshop bookable please by only postgraduate research students and staff at Coventry University. Students on taught programmes of study can obtain one to one help from sigma please see http://sigma.coventry.ac.uk                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Please note: This workshop has been moved online.
